1947 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe

Description:

A freshly restored car with very few miles on it from the John Addams estate is this extraordinary CCCA Full Classic 1947 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe. Powered by the original war-proven Cadillac 346 cubic-inch Flathead V8 producing 150 horsepower and a 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission that it was born with, this magnificent car lacks for little, with power windows and top. The car was retro fitted with CCCA permitted power steering for great touring.

Finished flawlessly in Lotus Cream over a saddle tan leather interior and a matching tan German Haartz cloth top, this car was just out of the restoration shop not long before the owners passing it could be a winning show car, yet is just as capable when put to the ultimate classic car test - Grand CARavan touring. Considering the restoration costs on this great Classic, the total package is a wonderful value for the money.

At the CMA Spring Ohio auction in Akron, a similar color and quality 47 Cadillac convertible brought $85,000 plus commissions, this is even a nicer car and a real value.

Scroll down for all the photos to appreciate this great car and fresh restoration.
